Being prepared for your hiking experience makes it more fun for everyone!
To make the most of your exploring experience we suggest wearing sturdy shoes or boots for all seasons, as well as insect repellent from mid-May through mid-August.
What to Wear
Dress for the weather; no one has fun if they are too cold or too hot!
In spring, it is advised to wear waterproof boots. The beavers may be busy making dams and creating flooding in some areas. Maybe even bring an extra pair of socks and shoes to change into when you are done with your hike.
What to Pack
Here are a few things you can bring along to make your time more exciting. Remember to be gentle in the ways you explore the wildlife and natural habitats. We don't want to harm them, simply to observe and learn from them. Remember to carry out everything that bring in with you. #leavenotrace
